What great musicians, we had the best music in the day. Wish we could go back to the 60-70's music in so many ways. I would have to say watching all of your videos that it must have been exciting to be apart of it all and have worked with the best of the best. Having watched these with Eric Clapton, Hendrix, Beck and even Winter my favorites would have to include Forrest Mcdonald, very impressive

Another great vidéo Forrest ! Fabulous stories, incredible that you met Jimi Hendrix in 65, before he went to England ! This poncho srory is also a great one . For various reasons I love these four guitar greats, and, playing a lot of instrumental music myself, I was of course tremendously influenced by J Beck ( so sadened by his recent passing ) ..But If i had to pick only one, it would be Jimi, because he was definitively a total artist : his songwriting craft was fabulous, beautiful lyrics, total poetry, flamboyant guitar playing and stage presence ( even Miles Davis was influenced by him )and like Django Reinhardt or Keith Jarrett, Jimi was probably the only rock guy who could make up music, instant composition, on the spot . Like this incredible piece at the Woodstock festival, just before the piece called Villanova Junction 🎶Thanks for these beautiful stories, my friend 🙏🎸🎶

What greats! I listened to them all back in the day. We had the best music! I would have loved to have seen Hendrix. I did see the Yardbirds. I'll have to look at my program to see who was in the band when I saw them. How lucky you are to have met them all. Really love this video. Thanks Forrest for your fabulous stories.

I’ve not met any of them or seen them live. My favorite - I have to go with Clapton since he’s been performing and putting out records during my lifetime - I’m 57. I have 9 brothers and sisters, so my musical taste run wide since I’m #6 in line and I have a older brothers and sisters.

Led Zeppelin was my fav of these 4, I was affected? merely because I was in jr high/ high school and entering my “bad girl” phase of life that lasted into my thirties 🥴Saw zeppelin live in San Diego, never met any of the artists in this clip, unfortunately! Love Clapton too, though… Bellbottom Blues comes to mind. That’s Clapton, right? My mind is slipping sometimes..
