It is absolutely criminal that you guys don't have millions of subscribers, but it's coming. Next level video production, music, cinematography, everything. Just pure magic.

I've been on those trails multiple times but I felt the thrill of my first time watching y'all. Thank you.

I started hiking in Big Bend in 1972. I liked it so much that I moved there in 1973 and stayed for 13 years. The video of your trip has brought back some wonderful memories. There were four of us also. We named ourselves the Chisos Brotherhood and hiked just about every trail in Big Bend, but especially in the Chisos--many times. Thanks for the memories!

Big Bend and Guadalupe Mountains two of my favorite places to hike and backpack.

Two years ago, your videos were a huge part of what pushed me to set aside my fears and try out backpacking for myself. Now, having spent a couple dozen nights camping out in the wild, I couldn't be happier that I did. Congrats on #50, here's to 50 more!

I'm 64 years old . I've had an accident to my right foot. It was crushed. I now have one foot without an arch, flat footed. It is 1 1/2 sizes larger then the other. I can walk but my balance is off some what.
That was five years ago. I so much miss hiking. I so much miss the Great outdoors. My son and his family took me to one of the county parks in our area Mt. Madonna. We took the Henry Miller Trail. I saw banana slugs, a salamander, snake, stellar jays, woodpecker. We hiked to forage hazel nuts and many varieties of acorns. Also, pinecone. Pinecone's for autumn crafting. Acorns for feeding the fenced in Fallow Deer kept in their protective pen.
Besides that recent adventure with my family. I want you all to know how much I so look forward to your adventures. The filming is beautiful and I feel as if I'm right there along with you all. Thank you for all you efforts and strengths and struggles too. God Bless

your talk together was beautiful. I do feel like I'm there with you. Channels like yours have replaced TV. I'd much rather watch this.

When I stumbled on an adventure you did on the Kumano Kodo trail in Japan, I got hooked and since then would binge watch all your past episodes. I’m a nature lover and I hike once in a while, but it has made me want to hike some more. Thank you for making great hiking videos- love the narratives!

Paused at 1h 15min. My eyes are suddenly wet, very wet. I've followed you guys for many many years. One of the most humble & authentic channels on youtube with true people who do what they love. We humans can be amazing when we want to be amazing.

I have never seen a group of guys more fixated on having a bathroom on a backpacking trip. You do realize that this is the only trail in Big Bend with a bathroom (pit toilet) in the entire national park, right? To each is own, but don't call it an adventure if you expect a bathroom to be provided along the way. Aside from that, great video and presentation!

I got engaged here last summer on the summit of Emory Peak. I'm from the midwest too but loved Big Bend. Great footage guys!

I think your channel is the best for hiking and traveling. I live in this Big Bend area and have for years and it’s so good to see the first time experiences from people who really appreciate our beautiful area. This is a beautiful peaceful area but can be dangerous and treacherous if not prepared. It’s so extremely vast people are blown away when experiencing. I would like to add a correction about the black bear, they are very prevalent and the scat you were looking at looked like black bear scat, we have quite a few black bear where we live and their scat is everywhere. The fruit on the prickly pear cactus is called tuna, and when eating prickly pear cactus in Mexican food it’s called nopales or nopalitos. We’re glad it’s so far out of the way or it would be bombarded by so many people like what has happened to the Texas Hill Country. We are out in the middle of nowhere with not as many people and like it that way, and the least amount of light pollution as well. Living so remote can be difficult in so many ways as well and not for everyone. So glad you enjoyed this area, and loved y’all’s adventure and your friendships. Will keep watching, thank you!

It does feel like we are with you on these journeys. I am over 70 and love seeing the world with you. "Love what you do and do what you love" and you can't go wrong. Keep up the good work guys.

I just found AA. Being elderly with a new hip I can no longer hike, but this video was fascinating and beautiful. I watch many vlogs of your age peers. I especially like that you guys don’t curse and talk crass. I also liked the botanical info. Really. Ice voice over.
