The lighting alone makes the original ship look up to par with the “modern” kitbashes from Discovery. Great work!

SO MUCH BETTER. There was never anything wrong or outdated with its shape and proportions. Enterprise already showed how good the old girl looks with proper lighting. Just add some nice detail texturing like here and she can shipporn you to tears with the best of them. Absolutely beautiful. And she really shows again how absolutely woeful the ship designs Post-ENT have been.

Yeah. One problem, though...the Enterprise only fired once.

I would have also updated Discovery to TOS specs. Maybe even give it a TMP vibe to show that it's "Hyper-advanced" and a testbed of future technology. Fill in the Saucer gaps. Reduce the Nacelle length and make it appear more like it's original TMP concept art origins.

I loved this as it showed exactly how Discovery is not the prime universe. There are just too many differences.

Oh, GOD! That was well done and surprisingly hilarious. From the "WRONG" sound effect to the phaser pot shot at the very end this was adorable.
