Greg's advice has done so much for me. In April I was 291lbs 6'3 today I am 268lbs and going down. I made simple changes to be more healthy, count my calories, increased my cardio, and eat good food (I even have a candy bar every other day lol) just have to be consistent. The french toast started it all! Thank you!!!

But Coach I do 15 minutes of HIIT cardio 3x a week and put coconut oil in my coffee every morning and I still can’t lose weight. I think I have a thyroid condition

Greg you have seriously started correcting my negative mental state I’ve fought for years. I was very fit 17-24 before my first child. I’m now 31. Since January first, I have lost a calculated amount of weight every week. Starting tracking calories, protein intake at 200g minimum per day. Back in the gym 4-5x a week, yoga twice a week, cardio 2x a week. Slow steady cardio after every lift session etc. I’m 31. Started January 1st at 270. I am 215 today. First time I’ve ever lost weight slow and patiently, but calculated. Knowing my maintenance and not losing any more than 2 lbs a week. I’m now at 2450 a day +\- 100. It has made the biggest composition difference! Cannot wait to see what 190lbs looks like this time around. I am 6 foot tall and because of you I’ve just completely changed my mentality permanently for the better. Don’t even remember the last time I wanted to binge and have a cheat day since I started eating like you. And viewing food how you do. I really appreciate what you do Greg. Your one hell of a guy and coach!

I needed to hear this I suffered from ED this year and took the cardio and under eating way too far.. I was so afraid I “broke my metabolism” and could not stop over exercising

I must have a good metabolism. Whenever I watch a "what I eat in a day" video I get confused at how little people eat and claim to be full.

As a morbidly obese man, 363 in April to 242 this morning, I have no worry about losing weight quick. Take the muscle all it wants. I DONT NEED THE MUSCLES THAT HELD UP 363 LBS. It’s fine to lose that muscle. I started with portion control, moved to walking then ramped up on both. Walk longer every week. From 1000 steps in a day to 25000 now. Eating one less piece of meat or one less scoop of rice to 1000 calorie a day. 30 to 60 minutes of hockey with my boys. Haven’t changed my weight training throughout. Becoming much more defined.

The part about how people have different set point / range of body fat % to function properly is useful. It's all about experimenting and deciding what works best for yourself. Thanks.
