Haworthias 101 - Care tips and a tour of my collection

Haworthias are a very rewarding genus to grow and very collectible! In this video we'll discuss the general care tips and have a walk around my porch to tour my collection. I only have 25 different varieties or so lol! We also talk a bit about the differences between Haworthia, Haworthiopsis, and Tulista, and you'll see some Astroloba as well.

I have just started a collection of Haworthias so was pleased to see this video. Will you explain why your plants are not potted in the same type of pots: some are in very tall pots, some in plastic of differing heights, and some in containers that do not look as if they have drainage holes, some in differing heights of glazed and some in unglazed clay pots.

I had one haworthia in medium light and it definitely etiolated that circle of leaves grew way longer and skinnier, but the other one got burnt in the Vegas heat wave I brought that one back inside it was a variegated zebra haworthia
