Is there a way to add variable in the text-to-speech?

What if I want the slide to advance after the learner enters their name and hits enter. I don't want them to hit the next nav button. As soon as the enter their name and hit enter, I want it to advance to next slide.

I have tried this so many times and every time I do, it doesn`t give me those percentage signs. What am I doing wrong?
