On plastic that has to have strength I melt a thin metal pin across the crack and cover it with molten plastic to secure it in place.

The same could have been done without the melted plastic and just the baking soda and glue. This person also doesn't know how to use a can of spray paint. If you are not an artist, you shouldn't be making these videos of shoddy work.
