I made this rocket engine by using a 1 inch diameter Schedule 40, 5 inch long PVC pipe. The fuel mixture is 60 grams of Potassium Nitrate mixed with 40 grams granulated table sugar. I then packed it tightly into the PVC pipe and plugged both ends with clay. I then drilled into the center of the clay until I reached the fuel then hand drilled the rest of the way into the core to avoid accidental ignition. I inserted a fuse for ignition that was held in place by a fuse plug.

What size and schedule of PVC pipe, what type of snozzle, what size snozzle, is it an end burner or core burner, if it is a core burner what size is the core, is it cooked or packed, are we gonna put a delay grain and ejection charge on it, ... people want to know! 😁👍👍🇺🇸

I’ve made Kno3 rocket engines before, and they tend to be quite a bit more violent and shorter in duration, and loud. The only time mine turned out like this was when I didn’t blend the mixture in a blender or if it wasn’t cored out properly, and also before I knew how to put a proper nozzle on the end with anchoring cement. You’ll know it’s right when it’s loud and fast burning. The wind shouldn’t be able to blow the exhaust thats immediately behind it. It would be too powerful for that. A motor that length would burn SUPER fast, or else you just broke the code and everyone would be trying to get your secret formula to get a motor to burn that long in that small of a package using only PN and sugar

Awesome, it looks like it has very little thrust though even a long burn.
