Koundouros Beach – Kea (Tzia) | Greece [4K]

Koundouros beach is one of the most beautiful and cosmopolitan beaches in Kea (Tzia), with sand and nice crystal blue-green waters. It's the only beach on the island that has been awarded a Blue Flag. The beach of Koundouros is located on the southwestern coast of Kea, 15 kilometers south of Ioulida, in Kavia bay. It is the central beach of the settlement of the same name, in which we also find a multitude of small bays. Characteristic of the area is the many windmills that exist on the hills around the beach.
