Sony A6300 vs Sony AX53 test footage

The AX53 is primarily a video camera, the A6300 is primarily a picture camera. Although they both perform well in either, their classification is more likely to tell you which camera performs best for what type of shooting. A camera is more suitable for for photos, a camcorder is more suitable for videos.

That's strange that the camcorder would have the sharper footage. I would have thought the larger lens on the A6300 would have had more of an advantage.

This puts me in kind of a bind. I needed something to replace an old A65 HDSLR I was using primarily for still photography, but I wasn't sure which way to go.

It would be more fair if a6300 was equipped with Zeiss lens or even Sony SEL 18-105 G lens. Also, pity that you didn't recorded in 4K.

you obviously zoomed in more in the a6300 causing it to shake much more than it should while jogging.
