My expectations were extremely low and tbh I'm not even surprised at this point. It was the same exact thing as last year except we had damage control last year and that was enough to satisfy some players so it isn't surprisng they would do it again. If 20 pulls and a few exclusive items are legit just the 2nd anniversary then idk what to even think anymore for how the 3rd anniversary would come out.

I mean a company like Mihoyo giving rewards like this is frustrating. The anime is also just for further promotion for themselves to grow, and even then they’ll still give bad rewards.

We get free 4 stars from regular events each year. A 10 pull is essentially a 4 star so it is pretty much no different than the rewards we already get.

I already had zero expectations after the last anniversary so I just decided to view Genshin Anniversary as another limited time event that gives wishes.

I feel like some of us were expecting 100 free pulls or a free 5 star, and all we’ll get is 20 pulls, but damn, I really hope that the cloud retainer pet isn’t as noisy as the mini seelie. Also, who lost their first 50/50?

I personally do not really care that much about the rewards, but I do also think they are only giving the minimum to avoid a situation like last year. Those few wishes ae really not generous.

The same thing happened last year. At this point, I never had high expectations or had any at all for the anniversary. I'll probably just play through the patch/update and forget all about the drama unless if I open social media.

I was expecting 10 wishes so it's all good for me, there isn't any 5 star I want right now nor in 3.1 so I'll just continue enjoying exploring and the events while saving my primos

Hoyoverse played so smartly.They surprised us with the Anime as well as the best ever livestream so that players Won't blame them for the anniversary rewards. But as they knew players we're disappointed last year because of the anniversary rewards, They should have increased the amount of Rewards....happy and sad at the same moment!...

some people expect so much and then get dissapointed when they don't get that, the devs put a lot of work in the new region, the archon quest, all the new characters, they're even making an anime for us, and it's still not enough? some people really are ungrateful, it's sad.

As an f2p player, as long as i get primos, no matter how much as long as its above 10 or 100, im happy, since i really wants hutao but her rerun is during halloween which is still long time foward

It's almost the same as last time, I hope they'd give as more than 20 wishes, considering how much they've earned throughout this 2 years, they should be more generous to the players and give what we deserved, after all it's also thanks to us that genshin impact grew and became this successful...

Like many others, my expectations weren't high to begin with, so I'm not really disappointed. It would have been great to have a few more primos and maybe a new outfit of your choice though.

The true anniversary reward for me is Dottore's official in-game model + his appearance in the Archon quests tbh. As a webtoon reader I had been waiting for him for almost 2 years. But that comes from me as a lore enthusiast rather than someone who cares about gacha (and I'm playing three gacha games right now, so I'm pretty used to the constant salt they bring anyway).

Hoyoverse putting out the anime is a smart business move. Not only it takes the attention from the anniversary awards. But the anime can possibly keep bringing in new players. Which it could also mean more profit for hoyoverse. It’s a smart business move imo.

EDIT: it occurred to me that if the majority of players are satisfied with what we got. Then I could possibly see hoyoverse being stingy about adding more pulls for 3rd anniversary. They could add side rewards like more fragiles, another pet and a glider or namecard. If the anime already aired by that time. Then by the 3rd anniversary they could end up announcing a 2nd season and call it a day. Imo I think they are hoping to keep players happy without having to add more pulls and maximizing ways to make profit. They can indirectly add a few pulls if they increase event primos by like 10 or 20 primos but that could be like 2 pulls. Don’t take what I said seriously it’s just an opinion. I’m hoping they add more pulls for the 3rd anniversary but this is hoyoverse we are talking about.

I'm just disappointed.. i was so happy about everything. Until they announced the rewards.. i honestly think that they actually don't care about us.. untill they have new players coming.. new players will think yay 20 free pulls.. but what about the end game players like us

Ngl many people saw this coming but what i hate the most is mihoyo treating the anime and music like as if they are doing a favor for us and is their form of appreciation while in reality they are going to be the major benefactors. Not that im not going to enjoy those contents but it isnt specifically for the player base
