The World's most expensive painting, The Salvator Mundi, has turned out to be a fake. The owner of the painting is believed to be Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman. Salvator Mundi was bought for $450,000,000. Turns out, Leonardo Da Vinci may have never painted it. So, who did?

They wouldn’t care if it was, it’s used to launder money, not to look good or real

The fine art industry has nothing to do with art and everything to do with money. It's a truly unregulated marketplace, so you can always get a return on investment so long as people think that the painting is valuable.
Question about Islam: Pictures of the Prophet Muhammed aren't okay, but pictures of Christ are?

It was painted by an unknown punjabi master (ji). Its original name is Salvator di mundi (head of salvator)

Not surprising; the artists of that time worked with a team of people under them.

Strange that a Saudi should buy a painting when images are forbidden in Islam and more strange that it has a christian theme

I love how you explained it exactly that’s how I feel or you can just learn whoever painted this then .
Someone could just set a new sign under it that says
Leonardo DaVinci and whoever 👌

It is just a hype created by these western media and western world. In India we have such beautiful paintings and artists, who ever see it has to bow down in respect. From Raja Ravi Varma, to present day artists all their work are mind blowing and have huge respect. India is a treasure in art and culture but western will never realize it.
