ME really makes you feel like a badass. And its very well written. The world building is still unsurpassed for me, and the number of goosebump story moments is noteworthy. The first game has a few flaws but still an impressive feat of gaming history. The legendary collection is a must have.

Newcomers mass effect 1 is only a scratch of the series, wait till you play Mass effect 2, best in the series.

the changes in gameplay between ME1, 2, &3 are significant with each entry feeling unique. we don't see such drastic changes in many modern series anymore.
