John has that look on his face, “holy shit George wrote a masterpiece.”

Frank Sinatra stated this is "the greatest love song of the past 50 years". He was right.

When John has that look of concentration, when he's not messing about, you know its a hit.

George finding the chords and melody, John finding the rhythm, Paul finding the bass line on piano. Now everyone in the world knows the song. Beatles magic. Pretty cool to see it at the moment of creation.

This song is in the "hot mess" stage, but everyone in the band is absolutely absorbed.
John's look of complete focus.
I could watch this forever.

How PATIENT is Ringo! Always there, always on and ready; always focused and concentrating. ❤

Ringo with his impressive ability to fit into music in a way that seems easy. He was fundamental, no one would do better.

Love how John and Paul are just looking and listening and recognizing what George did

Man, they were all so talented! These four finding each other and creating their amazing music for a decade was like catching lightning in a bottle. Simply magical.

Much later John was asked about Abbey Road and he said that "Something" was probably the best song on it. So that shows that George wasn't always looked down upon by John and Paul.

I think John and Paul AND Ringo were realising George had come up with something special here.
And indeed it was, The Beatles greatest love song period.

Lennon showing respect.
George completely there with the tune and half way there with the words. Fascinating to be at the birth of George’s baby.❤️

what I took of this documentary is the dimension of Ringo Star. Yes... P J and G composed hits that made history, but Ringo was always there, looking how to groove it all, the precise intensity, how to enter in middle compass. George, I loved and will always love with all my heart, for I am a guitarrist myself. But Ringo came out just huge for me after this cinematographical adventure.

A band jamming in those pre-digital-tuner-years is something our ears might not be used to anymore ... but I swear I love this sound!

George was an amazing songwriter. Love how John is looking at him totally in the moment and locked-in. Amazing footage.

And just like that George entered the stellar ranks of a masterful songwriting Beatle.
