George & Ravi did a VH-1 TV special called "Ying & Yang" to promote Ravi`s "Chants of India" album that George produced.
After George died VH-1 re-broadcast a specially edited longer version of the special (in December 2001) with previously unseen outtakes including George performing "All Things Must Pass" and the then unreleased "Any Road" and Dylan's "You Belong To Me".

0:21 Thanks to those 2 guys in the crew who yelled out, "All Things Must Pass, " while George was unable to think of what song to play. A poignant and beautiful final song for George Harrison.

If only George knew how many times this song helped me push on through hard times. Sometimes it feels like he’s in the room with me when I listen to his music. What I do to have a short conversation with George.

This is also the ONLY time George ever played this song in public, never at any other live show he ever played. He performed it only this once, and by a chance request.

Also his guitar was tuned down a half step, because he’s singing and playing in E flat, but he’s playing the shape of an open E chord.

The fact that George remember the whole song structure and lyrics after nearly 30 years shows how much this songs means to him. Yes, he wrote and record it, but is not unusual for artist to forget their own songs after a while, specially if they don’t perform live

Wild to think the next four years of his life would consist of getting diagnosed with throat cancer, lung cancer, brain cancer, a home invasion and getting stabbed 40x times, and ultimately passing away. With all that being said he still preached loved up until his last days. Life really is a fickle thing. Thanks for the great songs George

Arguably one of his GREATEST performances. I sometimes come back to this one when I am in a rut and find myself asking if life will ever get better. His last television appearance he left us with a valuable message.

Damn that rolling text fucking broke me... "I will always love him - He's my baby brother." "Flags are flying at half-staff in the Beatles' hometown of Liverpool"

I knew this clip existed for years after he passed, but I could never bring myself to watch it until tonight... for fear that it would make me too sad. And yeah, by the time he hit the first chorus, I was in tears. I miss this gem of a man every single day.

The most humblest star of all time with the biggest heart and no ego!

How deeply ironic that he chose this particular song for what turned out to be his last TV appearance.

"A mind can blow those clouds away" is one of my favorite lines in any song. Most of the time, when you're in a dark place, it's ultimately down to you if you want to stay there or not. This line captures that beautifully.

Zero reason this man's songs couldn't have coexisted on a beatles album...this one would have fit nicely onto Let it Be. RIP, my friend...and thank you.

Surely not a coincidence this song was suggested & George eagerly accepted for his final TV performance.
Thank you George.

I think i can safely say that this particular performance of this particular song is my very favourite piece of music. It's perfectly imperfect.

"It's not always gonna be this way..." That's hitting for me right now.
