Thank you Jay for giving us NO BULLSHIT training advice. The truth is a rare commodity in the fitness industry...

The problem with these studies is they never outline the rep SPEED. 5 reps at 12 seconds per rep is the same as 30 reps at 2 seconds per rep, but there is a world of difference between a 12 second and 2 second rep.

I love high reps because of the lower injury risk. (I've partially torn a pec before)

Have fun doing 15+ reps on squats or deadlift to failure.

I would rather stay in the 5-10 rep range. Lifting close to a 1RM where there is greater mechanical tension without excessive fatigue

No study looking at tissue growth for long period though, like 2years or more

Do you think curse words (like BULLSHIT in the thumbnail) makes the YouTube algorithm less likely to pump out your content to new people? Compared to saying BULLSH*T or something at least semi censored?

I remember hearing people say how if they curse within the first certain number of seconds or minutes in a video it will make the video less likely to get pumped out (I don't think we need to eliminate cursing but it's how we use it)

Therefore train hard and consistent no matter what, you will start noticing results. I stop believe all the fallacies about fitness related. Just put your effort and stick to it simple.

I'm just gonna stick to the 6-10 muscle density kino rep range and I'll do 12+ reps when I want to do kino rep training to fill out my muscles with sarcoplasmic hypertrophy. Kinobody has the "Hollywood" physique so I'm going to listen to him instead (haha I'm joking)

Hey Jay, can you (or anyone else who is familiar with it) please post the link to that study here in the comments. Merci beaucoup!

Is there a minimum amount of time under tension to maximize muscle growth? Or if your set is take only 15-20 seconds or 90-100 seconds, as long as you reach true (concentric) muscular failure, you will stimulate the same muscle growth?

Thanks!

Just wondering, what made you choose that specific sort of tempo for your training? Jus genuinely curious

I was just watching your video on high volume and i was wondering if increasing the volume on a certain few muscles would be worth it? Right now im doing PPL Upper, but im thinking of adding another Push day because those muscles are lacking the most.

Can EVEN do way more than 30 reps if it is to ABSOLUTE FAILURE and beyond.

Jay isn't distinguishing between strength (myofibrils) and hypertrophy (sarcoplasm).
