How to Kickflip in Under a Minute | Tactics

The kickflip is the biggest milestone flip trick and builds the foundation for learning almost every other flip trick. Even though the learning curve is steep, once it starts to click it becomes automatic muscle memory any you'll want to start kickflipping everything in sight. Good luck and have fun!

This is the best tutorial I have come across in my hour long search. The problem I was having was not realizing it was the exact same motion as an Ollie. That line diagram really helped. I’m going to try to just do an Ollie and add that little flick at the end. It makes sense now, thanks!

Thought at first that the title meant being able to kickflip within a minute! :) Good tutorial. Takes weeks/months to conquer the kickflip but it's a great feeling to finally land one.

99% of kick flip tutorials are literally "Pop with your bank foot (no shit), slide up with your front foot like an ollie, flick, and ride away clean"

Also hilarious when they add in "catch it with your back foot" before the ride away clean part 😂

I can land V flips, treflips but for the life of me cannot land a kickflip lol well not consistently any ways

So I have a good Ollie right, but the second I try a kickflip I either pop the board straight up. pop it behind me, or send the board flying in front of me all of them not flipping at all. Can someone tell me how to fix this
