About Subnautica Below Zero:
Below Zero is the follow up game to Subnautica and is set a year after the events of the original game. This time the main Character, Robin Godall is searching for her sister who was declared dead after working for Alterra on Planet4546b.
Below Zero features new enemies, leviathans like the Shadow Leviathan or Chelicerate, vehicles like the Sea Truck, buildables like large rooms and jukeboxes and much more!
More parts of the game are now set on the icey landscape of the pole of Planet4546b, but not even here are you safe from the massive Ice Worms and freezing temperatures.
Later in the story, an Architect called Al-An will be introduced and will require the players help to survive and carry on the Precursor's legacy.

Some new creatures are: The Snowstalker, the Glow Whale, the Chelicerate, Ice Worms, Alien Penguins, Rockpunchers, the Shadow Leviathan and more.

The Kharaa Bacterium also seems to make a return. Will you save the galaxy from being infected?

From what I see so far, the original Subnotica is far scarrier. In the origianl Subnotica you pretty much had to deside how many lims you ware willing to risk for some resources. I will never forget the first time I heard the roar of Reaper and then he suddenly grabed me - trully terrifing. The original game had a lot of issues (mostly techincal) but they absolutly nailed the emersion and experiance. It was so good that you are just picking some resources and you hear some noice - turn arround and you see a giant monster is trying to turn you into lunch. The original game took the perfect ammount of efford to show you that you are not in the upper part of the food chain (not even in the middle).
That is what I expect from Below Zero - that is the bar that the original game set.

I remember when I was new to this game and I found the cryptosuchuses terrifying, so I decided to try skirting around the edge of the purple vents on my way back to base in order to avoid them. I thought I was a genius— until I saw a massive shadow and was then promptly grabbed by a chelicerate. That scared the crap out of me.

The ice worm is way more terrifying than the shadow leviathan. I mean you can see the shadow leviathan coming, and you can dove in all directions. With the ice worm, it just jumps on you, and you are on land, so you can't escape up or down.
