Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attended an anti-racism protest Friday in Ottawa and knelt in solidarity with demonstrators. It was one of multiple events in Canada following days of demonstrations against racism and police brutality in numerous American cities. The protests began after George Floyd, a black man in Minneapolis, died after a white officer jammed his knee into Floyd's neck for more than eight minutes.

I remembered in 1990s, a deaf teenager died same as George Floyd, deaf people in America got together strike against discrimination Deaf president for Gallaudet University.

Cops forced to prevent deaf people from protesting. I heard story from deaf people that cops bounded a teenager deaf arms and knelt his neck by throat to prevent him from screaming. He screamed because he wanted cops to unbounded his arms so he can communicate with cops, but cop decided kneeling on his neck by throat until he calmed but he died. I didn’t heard anything about the cops were guilty or not guilty about over force on deaf people protested that time. That’s what I heard the story from deaf people.

If anyone remembered the story in 1990s.

I knew deaf people can’t hear the sound like so they can’t speak. People today still expect deaf people to speak and read lips for them to understand. I thought all hearing people should to learn sign and gestures to communicate for their deaf people to understand.
