This video reminds me of an excerpt from the book Jonathan Livingston Seagull. This is a story of a bird who spends his life in pursuit of excellence in flight, rather than flying for food. Anyway at one point he encounters a teacher, Chiang, who teaches Jonathan that heaven doesn't exist as a place, but as a state of perfection, and that perfect speed is being there.

And now I am going to have to re-read this wonderful story again.
