Hi Gregson, I've been following you guys on YouTube since you started with the first V70R. Not a social media person and typically not the type of person to comment publically. Been a Volvo nut for past 10 years being introduced by mechanic friend and driving his beat up 850 turbo wagon with 745, 000km or approximately 460, 000 miles. I was so impressed, I bought my first one the next day followed by I'm not sure how many others since. Because of the same friend I never ventured out of the P80 style and before watching you guys had no interest in anything newer then a 98. Before watching a few of the first videos my collection was 3 850 turbo wagons and a 98 S70 T5SE. Had to let one of the wagons go and currently unloading the T5SE because just before this Covid thing started I was able to pick up my second V70R. Yes, because of you guys I'm the proud owner of two beautiful Black on Atacama V70R's. Unfortunately they're both automatic but still a lot of fun to drive and I have to agree for a 15 year old body style probably the best looking wagon out there. Nice to know there is big following and maybe one day I'll have the time go to some meets or even join you guys in a convoy to the IPD garage sale or something like that. Keep up the great content, stay safe and healthy. Cheers from Toronto Canada.

Reason 6: quality and rust protection. Reason 7: the comfort of the seats

Still regret selling my 05 volvo s60R. Grey with light tan interior, had since new.. was still like new when I sold it.. now its in a volvo museum. I have faster cars, I have cars with more options, but I LOVED that car.

I have got a Saab 9-3 cabriolet with the B204 turbo engine stage 1 (220 hp). It is my first car and I absolutely love it. Spend kinda much money into it (for me) to restore things like rust, etc.
I do not know why, but I kinda fell in love with Swedish cars. Great car!

I totally agree with this. My 05 VR keeps giving me problem after problem but every time I fix it I get reminded how much I love it.

I was never a big fan of Volvo’s, always thought they were nice but not for me, but now after seeing your videos and the recent designs and how they drive I can’t wait to put an XC90 in my driveway...thanks for the videos

“XC90 one of the safest cars” no it is the
safest car, there have been no deaths or fatal wounds in an XC90 from 2003 when they were made to today

I will never sell my V50 (or my Amazon for that matter). These cars are so unique, and there really is nothing else like them. That five cylinder sound, paired with a manual transmission in the most unassuming body style there is just makes me smile. I love mine, despite the flaws, and will keep it forever, continually improving it as the years go by.

I understand you perfectly! I was already playing with the idea of a V70 P2 here in Germany when you started your V70R-series. Those episodes convinced me that these are the cars for me! A few weeks later i found a pretty well preserved one in Holland and bought it immediately Reason number 6: you learn a lot about cars by owning and restorating one of these: They are complex machines having AWD, turbo, Four-C, angle gear, etc... etc... but from a generation where you can still do a lot of repairs by yourself. My 35k€ (used to be 30k€, but now I added the third row seat in the back :^D). Keep posting

Found an S60R that's been sitting in someone's yard today. Left a note saying I'm interested. Hopefully they'll sell.

I remember back in the early 2000's I used to lust over the v70 R like most people lust over Lamborghinis.

Spent my morning under my 2006 V70 2.5T installing an O2 sensor spacer on the catalytic converter of my IPD exhaust to clear that P0-whatever code ... Thanks to your channel with keeping the V70 enthusiasm alive...Going to put another 100 miles on the car today to see if the fix works (YouTube University say's it will) by heading up to Lake Ontario to cool off in the lake... Happy Father's Day to ya!!!
