Great video thanks. Just purchased one and picked up some tips from other channels but new ones on here as well. Didn't know the foot end was slightly narrower than the head end either.

The best price of Naturehike tents is in collins outdoors, which is cheaper than the official website and Amazon. I bought a cloud peak 2 and used it for 6 months and felt good. Although it is not as expensive as the expensive brand, the price is for me friendly

I'm hoping to order mine in the next few days. I've seen many reviews and most are positive for the cost. One thing stands out in the comments I've read. The zips don't seem to be too good or last too long. That fault was probably the main problem I've come across (apart from the odd bit of rubbish stitching, bound to get the odd one here or there considering how many they produce). Its a lottery and the numbers seem in my favour so I'm going to go ahead and order it soon. Thanks for another review.

Hi Alan, thanks for the review of the Cloudpeak 2. I might consider buying one when I save up my pennies. Personally, apart from the Aluminium poles and two entrances there isn't a lot of difference between the Cloudpeak 2 and the Tamar 2.

A great tent, even not considering a budget price. It seems to be in a heavy tier but with the reason... it is breathable, has good rain resistance, and what is most important very wind resistant.
I use it in the Alps conditions, even in the wintertime. The 2022 version is even better to me as the zip T joint where the bug had a highway in ton interior was replaced with the "bug resistant" zip.
I set up it not intentionally, in a dark night just at the edge of the big ant heap colony and not even one single ant entered inside.
I have tents much more expensive but this one is my current "workhorse".. I am in the wilderness 200 days a year. (work-related).

So one of the only guys on YouTube who knows how to put the poles in properly and put the hooks on the poles so-called professionals. Don't tell you that. Thank you mate 👌

Collins outdoors now has a T-door option stock again, which I think would be better than arc door

Nice one Taff. I'm very happy with my CP2. Goes up nicely and behaves itself in the rain. I have the old version and those newer clips are much nicer to put up. In wet weather the 'centre and turn' clips are much more positive a connection onto the poles although the old ones arent bad.
Only downside of the tent is the rain runoff over the door, but everyone knows about it and you just adapt to that and I just keep a sponge on hand to wipe the panel over the door.
I like having the two doors, good for storage and nice to open the upper few inches of both sides a tad at night to allow airflow right thru.
I actually sleep at the narrow end rather than the wide end though, I find having the big net pocket above me far more handy for specs, headtorch and phone etc than the tiny one at the wide end.

Looks good mate. That's it, it's only a budget tent if you've got the spare cash.
