A gentle reminder that even if you took the first step, please don't be too harsh on yourself if you weren't to progress linearly in terms of your goals. I did take my first step and basically in the midst of my progress, but I encountered numerous setbacks and stuff that a break was all that I needed to recuperate.

Yes, it sucks that when I look back from last year that I was better than where I currently am. I just choose to forgive myself for being in such a rough place amidst my growth.

But I will only move forward. It's the only way that I know to get me out of this rough place.
