Hey David, I am trying to set up a template for a certain group in contacts. When I print it out it will show how I want it to be seen, with columns and sorted differently other then by name. Is there a way because I can not figure this out. thanks so much

Im trying to create christmas card labels and i want to add the words AND FAMILY behind each of the contacts. for example JOHN DOE AND FAMILY. how could i accomplish this other than hand writing this after the label is placed?

I think it would be a good idea to use the BCC field for the group. Otherwise you spread the E-Mail-Adresses to all recipients, what could be unwanted.

I have MacBook Pro 15" Retina with El Capitan. When I put a name in for new group and press return, it goes back to calling it 'untitled group' and can't rename it to anything else. Any ideas?
UPDATE:- I think I've found out how to do it, - while I am on 'untitled group', after it hasn't accepted my title, I have to go up to the Edit menu and click on 'rename group' then change the name *? This is not very intuitive or helpful and adds quite a few stages. Is it my setup or a bad Apple?

Hi, I'm on OS 12.2.1. For tracking purposes (using Mailbutler), I'd like to send each member of a mac mail group an individual identical email without everyone else's email in the To or Cc field. Bcc doesn't work for this purpose as it doesn't allow tracking. Is this possible without having to create a separate email for each recipient? Thank you!

So when you select that group and the names and emails come up in your email "to:" list are the in alphabetical order as they are in your contact list or are they all garbled (as mine is)? I would like it to show up alphabetically, so i can easily verify who is on the list, but have not found a way to do that.

Any chance you know how to use the mac contact book 2.3 version? Has the @ sign on the cover instead of the head...Having a hard time as your tutorial is great but does not match my Mac Address book so it's not quite working.

ls there a way to send to the group, especially if it's a large group, without all the individual names in the group being populated, leaving just the single Group Name instead?

How do you add a new member to a group you have already created? I have TWO gmail accounts, and am having some problems--one of the emails is for a support group I run and want a group with all the other admins who work on it as well. When I try to add someone to an existing group gmail says it cannot be added --and I am choosing from my Mac address book which is where I created the group not in gmail. Thanks!

Am using this right now, one problem is the names. Suppose I have Johnny Appleseed as a contact, however when I send him a card, I want to include all family members. Johnny & Phyllis Appleseed. If I change the name field, then when I email him it will be to Johhny & Phyllis Appleseed. Do you have any work arounds for this?
