Wrong UPI Transfer? Do This! || bekifaayati #shorts

1st things 1st, the bank does not have the power to credit the amount back to your account unless the beneficiary allows it to proceed.

In case of a wrong transfer, inform your bank immediately and call the customer care number. Make a note of the transaction's date and time, as well as your account number and the account to which the funds were mistakenly transferred. You might be asked to visit the branch.

Visit your bank branch, submit a written application of wrong transfer along with details.

The bank will act as a facilitator and provide you with details of the bank and branch of the account where the money has been transferred. If it is in the same bank, you can check with the recipient directly and ask for a reversal.

If it is in a different bank, it is better to visit the branch of the recipient and discuss the same along with written, e-mail communication and screenshots. In such circumstances, the beneficiary's branch may call the incorrect beneficiary and request that the incorrect credit be re-transferred to the remitter.

in most cases the other person return the money... all the cases i know the other person gives back the money... if you want to increase the chances then ask a female friend to call instead of you... your chances will be high then as many boys helps😂 girls... and if other side is female too then she'll also take a girl seriously and you'll get your money back...

In real with my friend what happend is the receiver bank completely raised the hand by saying that customer is not traceable🤣😂

Hdfc bank to unauthorized transaction ka paisa bhi wapas nhi karwata aur jab time par report karo to kehta hai tumhari hi galti hogi.
Bolte to aise hai ki puri history me kabhi unauthorized transaction nhi hui.! 😔

Bank can only refund that amount if the beneficiary of previous transaction allows them to transfer.

As per legal opinion in Jammu & Kashmir Bank Limited v. Attar-Ul-Nissa and Others [AIR 1967 SC 540], wherein, the Supreme Court held that if a third party, by mistake, deposits money in the account of some another person, as soon as the money is deposited in the account of such third person, who is a customer of the Bank, the money becomes the money of the customer, and it is not open to the bank in such circumstances, without obtaining the consent of the customer, to reverse the entry of credit made in his account and in effect pay back the money to the person who had deposited it, even though it might have been deposited by mistake. The beneficiary bank has already written to the customer seeking debit consent. The funds will be reversed once the bank will receive the fund and debit consent from the mistaken beneficiary.

Nothing happens in these type of cases, no one takes it seriously, nor the depositer bank nor the receivers bank nor upi department even after so many complaint in bank and upi redressal department.
It's been a year and no solution has been provided in my case,
Transferred amount of 25000 from my SBI account to Wrong account of indusind bank account Holder.
