The Hippiearab Podcast --- S1 E14
Humans are prone to entropy. Falling down several times over is an inevitable natural thing. But what do we do to get ourselves back up? Who can we turn to in order to wipe the tears away, brush the dirt off our shoulders, and return stronger than last time? Most people choose to rely on themselves, or even other people. But what if I told you there exists a limitless all-powerful source beyond our scope of understanding, and to gain access- all we need to do is trust.

“I felt like I was chasing a source of light when I realized I had access to the sun.” What a profound realization.

Your life is nothing more than a love story between you and Allah. Nothing more, every person, ever experience, every gift, every loss, every pain is sent to your path for one reason and one reason only, to bring you back to him.

33:17 ‘Whenever you face a trial or challenge, a challenging phase in your life, where it’s testing your patience and your integrity and your values, the answer will always be to go back to Allah….’ 🥺

I didn't expect when I clicked on this video how much perspective it would give me on how I'm prioritizing my life. Like its actually kind of surreal realizing how much I'm surrounding myself with worldly priorities and how lonely it is, when Allah says "Call upon Me, I will respond to you". Who else could we ask to listen to our problems and be there for us. This video really inspired me to re-evaluate what I'm doing and I can't wait to listen to your other podcasts <3

I've been on the journey of reverting to Islam and I am so happy I found your channel. This morning while making breakfast I really wanted to listen to a talk about anything related to Islam and your video was the first one on my home page. Your message was beautiful and honestly what I needed to hear and seeing you start tearing up made me also tear up because I understand that feeling you are having from the presence and understanding of Allah. So thank you and may Allah bless you.

1. we're so entranced in this duniya that we forget Allah is everything
2. there's nothing in this duniya that can go above Allah
3. even after a while of doing something, things can still be hard n that's fine
4. Allah is greater -> 90% of the things dont rly matter (the goal simply becomes peace)
5. Allah is more merciful than u on ur own selves
6. human beings have a purpose that is undeniably powerful but alot of us choose to ignore it
7. ikhlas: doing the best u can for the sake of Allah (u or other ppl cease to matter)

what a timing, we experienced an earthquake in Morocco yesterday and at that exact moment nothing really mattered, not your belongings or your achievements. all you keep thinking about is the power of Allah, and what helped was Dikr, prayers, and repeating the name of Allah.
We surely belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.

Hey farah, I'm a born muslim who steered away from god for a long time and is finally making some efforts to fix my relationship with him. I wanted to say that your videos are so helpful for me to let go of what allah doesn't want me to hold onto, and just have more of a قناعة in doing so. Thank you for this amazing content❤❤❤❤❤

The last sentence “He put you and me to worship Him”. Sometimes this dunya makes you feel worthless but that sentence made me truly emotional ‏as of Allaah truly does care about us 🥺🩵

Honestly from the beginning of this video to the end ive been sobbing. There's something so beautiful in that last message you said, somehow I ALWAYS forgot, somehow I always make the same journey, I stray from Allah, I face hardship, I question everything I thought I knew, I question myself, I question the people around me, and I ALWAYS come back to find that the answer is Allah swt. and that never changes, and never becomes less of an answer, but somehow I always forget- the tests will always continue, but the reward of being patient throughout is so significant, because no matter how far I stray, or how lost I become, Allah is always waiting at the other end, and that's such a big comfort for me.
