Niners don't actually want Aiyuk. His drops have always been killer and he can be replaced. He was in the dog house for his first 2 seasons because he refused to put in the work. He eventually begrudgingly started blocking and running the routes correctly. We love to talk about QBs benefitting from that Shanahan offense, but we never talk about WRs who are products of the system. Aiyuk will not have the same production if and when he goes to another team. This diva behavior is not new and the Niners are trying to distance themselves from him without pissing off the fanbase.
