We did an office building with carpet tiles, no pattern was ever specified so we just laid it monolithic, the customer complained because the seams were visible, not the floor under it, not the quality of the work, no crooked lines, just seams between the tiles.

My hometown is Dalton, Ga & having worked in tufting & finishing for Mohawk (and did contract maintenance both at Aladdin plant) & seeing how latex sticks to everything, or everything to it, this makes perfect sense.
