Are you asking me about hero 2 and 3 ? I use both with magenta filter from SRP, SWCY and CY (red) for ocean, both are good

To Pair a GoPro3+ it's a little different. At 1:01 When he powers on the remote, you need to press and hold the red shutter button on the remote. Then press the power (mode) button for just a sec while still holding the red shutter button, and wait until the remote powers on and show two arrows moving inward towards each other.Only then can let go of the red button. Only wow the WiFi remote is in pairing mode. Now you can proceed to what he does at 1:04. I hope this helps ya, because his video did not work for me. I had to do my own research, and I thought I might help the people who follow MicBergsma because he seems likes a good dude.

Great tutorial! You should do a video on how to change from the original Hero 2 lens to the flat lens for underwater use!

It's quicker to use the wifi button. If the wifi is off press it once to turn it on. Then once the wifi is on pressing the wifi button takes you directly to the wifi menu screen. Don't know if this from the newer firmware or not, but it works and it's much faster.

hey man i learned this after fiddling around with it, for some reason after a certain time of not using wifi app or the remote, you have to re-update the HD3 Firmware. Ive done it about 2 times now Ive had the cam since Jan. 9 2013 Im actually reupdating right now. SUX dont know why it happens, I have the Black Edition also

Got a question for ya.. The camera is waterproof when you have the waterproof door on it, but what about the remote? If you get a few drops of water on it is it gonna be alright? I was gonna mount the gopro on the front of my kayak and use the remote but do i have to keep the remote completely dry?
