I can't believe Avengers is dying. I was really excited for that game, even though it didn't end up being excellent. For it to last about 3 years is crazy. So much potential. Look how genuinely excellent spiderman ps4 was. It's one of the biggest franchises ever. Crazy.

Arcade machines I would love include Simpsons Pinball, a later Time Crisis, Mario Kart machine (with save cards), Initial D (with save cards). Plus other pinball machines to fill whatever monstrosity of a room I have for these LOL.

I am sad to see Peter putting down Forspoken due to its writing. The gameplay mostly makes up for it and I think some of his issues are not present as much as the game progresses.
That said, many people (including Peter) are a little too harsh on the writing especially related to Frey. For example, Peter complains that Frey calls corruption of the Athia "the break <poop>" (replace <poop> with expletive). She calls it this 2 or 3 times before she realizes a more apt name is simply "the Break". Then there are complaints about Frey not wanting to be part of a corrupted world full of dangerous creatures or save people whom immediately treated her like a monster & a criminal when she was hungry, thirsty, and desperate for help.
Its sort of easy to not be that harsh toward Frey's character, but many chose that path anyway.

I haven’t played Forspoken yet, but the games it reminds me most of (from Peter’s live stream and Review Corner footage.) is Primal on ps2 and FFXV, both of which I liked. However It just feels a little dated and I worry that the world is really empty looking.

Have a unique name so doesn't happen to me often, but there was a character in Witcher 3 that shares my name. He's described as a scoundrel and in my playthrough I killed him because I thought he'd murdered someone. Turned out he was innocent, so I am left with a situation Freud would probably find interesting.

My name is super rare as well. The only Bret (and it’s usually spelled with two T’s) that I remember is in Pulp Fiction. It’s the guy who gets gunned down by Jules and Vincent. I’ve never met another Bret in real life either. I guess it’s unique? Oh well
