A Pokemon X Hardcore Nuzlocke Monotype Challenge with ONLY NORMAL TYPE POKEMON - Can it be done? (No items, No overleveling)

RULES:

1) If a Pokemon faints, it's considered dead and can no longer be used.
2) Only the first encounter can be caught on each route.
3) Species Clause; I can reroll an encounter if the first encounter is something already caught.
4) No items in battle (held items are fine).
5) No overleveling the next gym leader's highest Pokemon (leveling up during the fight is allowed).
6) Battle style must always be on 'Set'.
7) No mega evolutions are allowed in this run.

Hey dude, just a heads up, if you ever play XY again and decide to use furfrou, you can get it’s fur trimmed in lumiose city. This also boosts its speed stat and changes its fur colour and pattern

this was a cool run, and there was a nice spotlight on a few pretty underused pokemon. pyroar (I actually can't stand how plain it looks and how middling its stats are), furfrou especially, even tauros seems a bit overlooked just because of which games it appears in and how late or rare it is as an encounter.

Love this channel thanks for the uploads. HOWEVER u gotta acknowledge the story in this game. Alright, gen 1 and 2, u face team rocket, they are just mafia guys trying to run a casino, make money, turn money into power, bully people, i.e., small minded. Gen 3 we had some ecoterrorist stuff going on, gens 4 and 5, by comparison, forgettable. Then we get to gen 6.

Lysander is the reincarnated younger brother of the ancient king. The ancient king lost his beloved Pokémon in the war, a floette. He invented and built a machine that could harvest the life energy of people and Pokémon to resurrect the dead. He succeeds and brings back his floette. The floette can’t stand the sight of who the king has become, realizes that countless souls were extinguished to bring it back to life, and leaves. Blah blah everyone else talks the king into using the machine as a nuclear warhead, but in the end, u find out that the Pokémon equivalent of Gilgamesh, AZ, is the same fking king from thousands of years ago, and u LIBERATE HIM FROM EONS OF ETERNAL PAIN AND TORMENT. And his floette comes back. What in the hell where they thinking making that leap in evil Pokémon game teams? We go from taking down the Pokémon version of al Capone, to freeing a formerly blinded, but myopically well intended genocidal manic from his punishment of an eternity of loneliness, suffering, and immortality?
