Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed

Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader

It's very fun that immediately when an "explanation" is given the corresponding setting in the randomizer immediately jumps into my mind. Because I considered playing with all these kinds of changes so often.

I should really get into a double-battle only run; that seems like some insane fun. (That and the "moves randomized by type" setting)

You really bounced back from that Yveltal team sweep. I also had a rough run-in in a Nuzlocke I’m playing of Brilliant Diamond with the Purrugly. I think it might hurt worse than Miltank due to Purrugly being widely disliked. I even lost my starter and one of the few fire types of course.

I lost a few more to wild Pokémon now, Zubat to Chingling and Beautifly to an overlevelled Buisel in the underground. RIP Silverwing and Butterfury
