I’ve made so many websites out of spontaneity over the years and even made and published a Chrome extension due to curiosity to see how far I can push things. But the one thing I have thought about but haven’t yet done is my own personal website. Perhaps it’s now time! If Ali says it, gotta do it!

Apart from the fear of being cringe, theres also a fear of being wrong, or wrongly perceived. Putting yourself out there immediately exposes you to reputation risks. It can make or break you. So it depends on what type of content we share and how confident we are about it. Else, people on the internet are rarely forgiving.

Hey, Ali!

I actually built my website because of you, I launched mine on 2022 after watching your video about starting personal website. I remember you said that we don't have to focus with SEO and just start writing, but the thing is, I don't get any views or traffic. This month, after 2 and a half years, I decided to start monetize it with Google Adsense — I still don't get much views unless I promote it to other platforms.

So here are my two questions:

1. Is it right to monetize it with Ads?
2. What would you recommend to get traffic?

My personal website doesn't really helped that much to get clients, maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know. So yeah, those are just my questions and I hope you can answer it:)
