Exploring AMAZING Guatape, COLOMBIA! (MUST VISIT!)

Guatape, Colombia is SERIOUSLY INCREDIBLE! From its history, colorful zocalos and the chance to climb El Peñón de Guatape (La Piedra del Peñol) you can’t miss it while traveling Colombia. If you are in Medellin you can access Guatape by a day trip or you can stay the night or two - which we recommend as you will want a couple days to soak in it’s atmosphere. In this video we are going to not only climb La Piedra but also walk you through the town of Guatape while talking about its history a bit and of course sample some drinks and food in town! 😍 GUATAPE is one of the most beautiful towns in Colombia, its dam and its imposing stone are unique, but near Medellin I recommend JARDIN, SANTA FE DE ANTIOQUIA, JERICO and EL RETIRO are beautiful towns.

What an amazing, colorful, historical place! Thanks for the tour. Even the food looked delicious and the prices weren't bad, especially for a tourist area. Looks like a fun place to live but I doubt anyone who isn't a millionaire could afford it. An affordable apartment and I'd be there in a heartbeat. Congrats on doing all those stairs.
