For anyone reading this who hasn't voted yet, make sure you read up on the people running for your state and local offices. Those are important, too.

My personal feeling is EVERY candidate should have to do something like this. Long form conversation that's not scripted. We DESERVE to know who our candidates are. May God bless our great nation 🙏

Great that you were impressed by the fact that "he was able to keep his thoughts on track" "and was listening 'quite' well" what a standard for a presidential candidate :D :D

Podcasts have decentralized mainstream controlled and censored media. The people are tired of gate keeping networks.

29M views in a day for a podcast with 17M YT subscribers. That’s totally out of ordinary. Especially for a podcast that runs 3 hours.

Oh dear, this should be interesting. Dr. Grande did not outright bash Trump. Now people will bash Dr. Grande.

No voter ID is crazy tho wtf? I'm surprised states are allowed to do that.

If anyone is still on the fence at this point, we don’t need their vote. They’re freaking idiots.

I don’t think it was a game changer for the election at all. The vast majority of voters have their minds made up. I do think it was a game changer for the media landscape. Not just this podcast/episode but this was the culmination of a hugely different approach to campaigning. There is a hunger for authentic, unscripted, long form conversation instead of tightly prepared interviews. Some of these podcast appearances by both candidates may change the expectations that voters have about how they learn who the candidates are and what they stand for. This was another nail in the coffin of “old” media.

Wasn't an interview it was a conversation

Joe Rogan said in this podcast, that he would simply talk to Kamala, not "interview" her, IIRC. Rogan does not appear to be antagonistic toward either side.

I’ve always dreamed of a presidential candidate doing something like this. Politicians always came across as fake and unable to talk without a teleprompter

The time of convincing anyone is over. It's all about getting out the vote.

The pharma commercials should be banned. The public aren’t Drs and shouldn’t be suggesting what medication they want to take.

Not a game changer. There are no undecided voters. If they claim to be, they were always going to vote for trump. If his actions dont disqualify him in your mind, youll vote for him. If his action do disqualify him, you wont vote for him.

I do love the long form interview... much better than debates. It won't happen but I like to see both candidates appear in a format like this
