Best illegal slam ever

This was my brothers first wrestling match (green singlet) and he wasn't very certain of rules😂

Pretty Good for a first match . I respect anyone who has the courage to try their luck at any combat sport . Although there was some goofy stuff there I think they both have potential .

It wasn't a freestyle match. It was a MAWA tournament. It's a lot of old dudes that use to wrestle. Refs are pretty much just there. It was illegal, but not called. He missed a 2 PT takedown as well. It was all in good fun, he went on to win the tournament (guy in the green)

I’m all for thinking outside the box, unfortunate for the kid who got slammed, hope his ribs are okay. Certainly frustrating when wrestling someone not familiar with the rules that make the sport safe. some of the wildest stuff youll see is watching wrestlers 1-2 years into their career, lots of wonky improvisation that has potential to work wonderfully.

I don't know the rules for freestyle wrestling, and the referee said the top guy clasped at 1:06. But they did not wear headgears when they were wrestling on the mats.

I Dont know man back in the 90’s that was part of wrestling. Once in a great while we would get a slam call and that was pretty much if the wrestler tried to put his opponent through the gym floor
