The true potential of advanced combustion engine technology and modern transmission systems can only be exploited with powerful control strategies. Modern electronic control systems must fulfill all the functional requirements while ensuring a maximum level of reliability and functional safety. In this context, FEV can rely on its tremendous background of experience in overcoming the challenges we have encountered in conducting many projects. Today, our competence includes almost all of the controller platforms that are used in the automotive industry. This includes controllers that are used across the full development range from rapid prototyping solutions to mass production technologies. Our development methodology is supported by highly effective hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) testing facilities and modern project management tools.
