In an exclusive live interview on TODAY, Vice President Mike Pence tells Matt Lauer that the number of troops sent into Afghanistan under President Trump’s new policy will depend on “conditions on the ground” and hailed “a whole new policy for Southeast Asia.” He also says “the president specifically denounced white supremacists” in Charlottesville, adding, “I know his heart.”

Why does he ask about when Trump said, "Good people on Both Sides"?? It was clearly stated that some protesters there weren't racists but were in that crowd just to protest, to be heard. It may be hard to believe but there are people who just follow crowds just to protest. That's who he's talking about so why think about it so hard??
