Jetkids Bedbox Honest Review

The flimsy arm rests and thin mattress are terrible! We use Flyaway Kids Bed which is a new inflatable flat-bed and it's amazing! Such high quality and saves us carrying more carry-on luggage. We're expats & fly a lot with our toddler and the best thing is he can sleep and play comfortably for the whole flight. Usually we fly on Qatar, Etihad or Singapore Airlines but I know it's approved on 50 others. We recommend it to all our expat friends:)

drop two door stops or wheel block into the box to stop the moving of wheels, there is plenty of solutions for the wheels if you arent good at strapping it to the seat.
Sew a strip or two of velcro on the buttom of madress to have it "sticky" a bit to airline seat or directly onto the box lid.

How many planes has she been on with Velcro seats lol the side pads go inbetween the arm rests and the strap is what stops it from sliding left to right but they didn't finish that bit it seems to me by the looks of this review it's more user error than fault of product I'll still be getting one soon

Thank you so much for this review! My *exact* questions answered... I have a 13 hour flight coming up with a 2 year old (who sleeps in her own bed but is very wiggly/ difficult sleeper) and thought about buying this or the Fly Tot to make her seat a bed. I was suspicious that the Bedbox would move around during flight and that the bed looked a bit flimsy. Surprising they do not use velcro to fasten on the bed, or locked wheels. So, what do you use now? What do you think about Fly Tot or similar?

The part that slides out is supposed to slide over the aircraft seat. No wander it was sliding around!

So it’s basically a portable bed and doesn’t function as a suitcase, because our local shops advertise it as a multi functional suitcase...

You used it wrong LMAO!! the child's head/upper body is on the seat and his/her legs are on the leg rest, there is a locking mechanism to stop the wheels moving! how thick can a person be! the padded uprights are wedged against the inside of the arm rests of the seat! ....WOW!
