The fact that I did this (moved a mountain and rerouted+terraformed a river) on a server just for it to go down about a week after I finished the river and hadn't actually started on the buildings (outside of wool plans) still hurts my soul

I’ll never understand how some people have the time and patience to make their world look as sick as they do. I build a poorly constructed house every time and think to myself “this is the coolest thing ever”.

I'm currently building a mountain near my spawn base, transforming a birch forest into an inactive volcano, just so I can build a magic school at its peak just so I can have a librarian with unbreaking III live there.

I don't understand how anyone can put so much work into a MC world knowing they are always a single big mistake (or even just a really bad case of RNG) away from losing it all.
