I've come across hot topics on facebook with people talking around climate change, transport infrastructure (change to cycling routes and busses) and attitudes towards environmental sustainability (Recycling, Littering etc). People are generally frustrated around the slow adoption of change and got bogged down with those complaining, blocking and trying to manage expectations all the time. Putting their challenges in this context: Celebrate those early adopters, the revolutionists, the new ideas. Engage with those who are in the middle and willing to change. Stop engaging and emotionally battling with people who are simply not going to change. Practical application to cultural and behavioural changes on key issues! Thanks Simon!

Awesome. Unknowingly to me i did the same for meetings everyone hated but were necessarily. Announced when, what has to be decided, invited mandatory people and told others that they can join but did not send them invite by default as everyone would join and just sit there as always. Its so way easier to make changes in group of 5 people rather than 20 where 15 never ever speak.
