I am considering trading my 5 in for 347 and upgrading to this. However with the 7 on the horizon I am considering waiting. The problem is that if I wait for the 7 I am risking for the trade in value to decrease. You are right this is a weird time for this phone, but the size is appealing to me.

Size is a real factor to a lot of people. The 6A is the largest I'm willing to go. I wish it were even smaller like the 5.

The 6a was a no brainer for me. Google gave me $300 trade in for my 4a in trade for the 6a. They offered me $84 in trade on the 6. Ended up getting the 6a and Buds-A for $150. Can't beat that.

Can you compare Pixel 6a signal strength to some other phones? Many people claims that the whole 6 series has seriously low signal and phonecall connectivity issues.

This phone did come out at a strange time but why? was it delayed? Was it an after thought to target a certain demographic? Most people will see it as a budget Google Phone and not think about what the other Pixel has for features.
