I'm not going to lie, wireless charging is not a deal breaker at all.

“6.1 inches is still pretty big”
thank you bro.

My pixel 6 has aged oddly. I never had any issues. I feel it's gotten smoother over time which is strange for an electronic device.

Pixel 4a has aged really well! Two years in and it never skips a beat.

My take on wireless charging is most people looking to buy the 6a are probably coming from a cheaper or mid range phone that doesn't have wireless charging. Hence it won't be a big deal.

Wireless charging is mostly on flagships, people who are in that market are most likely not looking at the 6a.

I've owned every pixel except the 5A. I don't see where a lot of the reviewers are saying that the six and six pro aren't stable to me. Stability has not been an issue at all since the initial first two months. In fact, I would honestly say at this point that the pixel 6 non-Pro is my favorite pixel ever.

I just bought my Pixel 6a last week (3 months after launch). It feels like a flagship phone to me. I've never used a phone with 90Hz refresh so MKBHD is right. I don't miss it. But everything feels great. It's fast and responsive. Very good camera.

I think "The Pixel 6a is" is a take we can all get behind.

I've been rocking the pixel 6 since release and I've been overall very happy with the phone. It's working just as well if not better.

Fast forward to the 6A winning best Camera By Marquees months later! A win for pixels!

Marquees's "who is the 6a for" sums me up. I am currently using an Oppo Reno2 that has a 60Hz AMOLED display with a SD 730g. I have pre-ordered the sage Pixel 6a with the Pixel Buds A-Series bundled in and I cannot wait to get it. As you say, I do not care about high refresh rates, wireless charging, or whether the SoC can run Genshin Impact... it's not what I want in a phone. I was debating the Nothing Phone and Samsung Galaxy A53, but what made the 6a the choice for me is the 6.1 inch screen.

Been using the Pixel 6 since launch and I've had a great experience ✌🏾

I've had wireless charging capable phones for the past 3 or 4 years and have only used wireless charging maybe 3 or 4 times. fast wired charging is far more of a selling point for me

Recently picked up the pixel 6a and wow, beautiful screen, very fast and the camera is so good. 60hz i cant tell the diff and it makes the battery last longer. Love it

I'm still using my Pixel 3a. Best phone I've ever used.
As a fairly serious photographer, I know that the number of megapixels in a camera has nothing to do with the quality of your photos. for me, a phone camera is a camera of convenience, so I'd not use the camera as a decision point for purchasing. I'm a bit nervous about the 6a, I saw a review that said it ran rather hot and in my experience, nothing kills a phone faster than abnormally high temps.
I think the A53 appeals to me a bit more.

Coming from a Note 10+, I like my Pixel 6 pro. The only thing I don't like is the wide angle camera isn't wide really. I had it for a month and didn't experience any of the bugs that people are talking about.

just bought a Pixel 6a couple of weeks ago, and I'm going to say, it's worth the budget if you guys want a really good performance and a camera at a less price.

I still have my pixel 4a and it's been an awesome phone. Sucks that the new ones aren't as reliable.

Man i own Asus Zenfone 5z
Got it 4 years back and has same 12mp camera with sony imx 363 sensor, same 18w fast charging, same display size 6.2inch but ips one,
The ui is still fast with snapdragon 845 and this device has aged well.
I don't see any significant upgrade if i switch to pixel 6a which costs around 550$(44000₹) at current exchange rates in India.
This device is so overpriced is India. Won't sell at all.
Nothing phone one looks like a good deal after launch of Pixel 6a.

It'd be interesting if Nothing Phone 1 gets custom roms. Nothing has already released the kernel sources and supports easy OEM unlocking. As David mentioned, it'll be hard to update nothing phone beyond Android 14 bc nothing decided to use older vendor for their operating system which was meant for Android 11.
