Todd McFarlane is nothing short of a legend in the comic book industry. From his work with Marvel Comics, specifically on The Incredible Hulk and Spider-Man series The Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man, to his earlier work with DC Comics and ultimately as a founder of Image Comics, few creators have managed to stay as relevant as McFarlane over the course of some many years, which have now become decades.

To your point, I just picked up the full run of McFarlane Marvel Tales covers at a local shop for $1 ea! I've been looking for these for some time and when I found them all in the dollar bins I came online to see if anyone was talking about these issues. Yours was the first video I found!

I've loved McFarlane's art since the first time I saw it in Hulk 340. Seeing his art was mind blowing. It had so much energy and coolness, and made me a Marvel fan. It's still a comic book memory that sticks out to this day. I can remember where I bought it, and where I was when I read it. He made me an Iceman fan too. Great nostalgia Drew!

I feel since I cover GIJOE ( and alittle Transformers ) Herb Trimpe doesn’t get the love and appreciation from Modern comics.. you mention it .. He drew 1st Wolverine ( and that is going up and up by the hr ) .. Herb was the artist of GenX ... I think the Marvel Tales are for true fans of Art and TMF’s art .. great video

Hey Drew! Greetings from the frigid North. Got a bit of a mystery book here trying to get some info on if possible.
Marvel Mix-Tape # 1 2011 Con edition. Alpha Flight preview up front...but on the back cover there is a full cover ad for Ultimate comics Miles Morales Spiderman # 1. Any thoughts on it's value?
