Nord Stream Sees Unprecedented Damage to Gas Pipeline to Germany

Nord Stream reported "unprecedented" damage to its key pipeline to Germany Tuesday, adding it is impossible to say when flows could resume. Vanessa Dezem reports on Bloomberg Television.

The USA was worried that Germany/EU would capitulate to Russia, make peace and restart economic commerce. The USA didn't want Europe to have that opportunity.

Speaking to reporters on February 7, Biden said: "If Russia invades, that means tanks or troops crossing the border of Ukraine again, there will no longer be a Nord Stream 2."

"We will bring an end to it, " the president said. A journalist asked Biden how he could do that since Germany was in control of the project, the president replied: "I promise you: We will be able to do it."

Honestly, NATO benefits from this the most. Russia needs these pipelines to maintain its bargaining with Germany. The destroyed pipelines forces Germany to go all in with Ukraine. It could be Poland, they have capable special forces and assets. Could also be Americans.

If we were to go with sabotage for a purpose, this is most likely a NATO sided op. Could be any of the countries with interest in supporting Ukraine and stopping the Germans from negotiating with the Russians.

Western leaders want people to freeze to have them comply with oppressive emergency measures. EU also is worried of Poland, Hungary, and Italy turning their backs at EU and dealing with Putin for much needed gas. That option depends on these pipes. Not so hard to see who did this.

If there’s anyone in Europe who hasn’t obtained warm winter clothing, I recommend clothing designed for skiing. Snow pants that are overalls, layers, a warm coat, hat, gloves, and boots. Something warm enough to keep people alive if they had no heat all winter.
