Assaulted By Security Staff At Great Bear Distribution - DJI Mini 2

Today I was assaulted by staff at Great Bear Distribution, Sutton in Ashfield.

From the moment I arrived the security was shouting at me, then another person turned up and demanded that I turn my camera off, and I will never turn my camera off if there is a chance of being attacked. Then he attacked me.

Love the first guy's exceptionally deep suspicion, actually seeing the paranoia and worry is so good. How he thinks his company is a sensitive site, and in reality, nobody cares a jot. he mentions "we don't know what you're going to do with that as far as I could see both cameras captured a combination of glass, cladding, concrete, shubbery, paintwork, well known lorries and not much else. No secret documents on the MD's desk, no information useful to a competitor, no close up detail.

Absolutely get them charged with assault, that was uncalled for and at the very least send the video to the great bear management and hr. Not good publicity for them

PJ, their behaviour is unprofessional and totally unwarranted. I would report the incident of assault and attempted theft, to the Police.
They need to, learn they cannot act as they did with impunity.
The CEO and senior management should be informed, they had a potential lawsuit on their hands, not to mention the bad publicity . Thanks to the two individuals resorting to thuggish behaviour .
I think the CEO and senior management would appreciate being made aware of the incident to put, in place a policy to prevent any further occurrences by their employees.

It was clear that the old skinny thing was a clown from the moment he started to stride towards you with what he imagined was an air of authority. And his young husband was a pillock too - you could have flattened them both in the blink of an eye.

I own the company who are Great Bear's biggest competitor. Thanks to a video of a roof, some trucks and some pallets, I now know everything about them and can take over all their customers. Dave, I won't be looking to take you on.

PJ - if you are truly auditing for the benefit of the wider public (which I believe you’re are) you have an obligation to the public to take the matter of the assault against you further.
If not for yourself, but for all members of the public who may face this type of illegal aggression.

Peter, you need to report this to the police, it is in your best interests.
Wouldn't be the first time people like this will lie about what happened make false claims.
They need charging, and the company needs to fire them.

I like the fact that they stand and look at the drone and can do sod all about it. Their egos are well and truly shattered. Hope they look at this video and see just how foolish and childish they are. Just because people do things they do not agree with does not give them the authority to take any action outside of their job description - security checking people and vehicles entering the premises and NOTHING ELSE.

I think all auditors should get together and descend on this place on mass. 😁. I look forward to that video and I agree with other comments, this should be reported to the police. Assaulting somebody simply because you don’t like what they’re doing is unacceptable. It’s irrelevant what people think of these ‘audits’ it really does highlight the attitude and disgusting lack of control some people have. Working security without the necessary skills to do the job should have their licence revoked.

Ey up PJ, I've just been onto the their Web site to leave a glowing review of how their staff treat members of the public. The reviews already left on the website are having an effect on their ratings, let hope this is enough for them to deal with the two thugs that assaulted you.
