Which Devices Will Survive a Putin Tactical EMP Strike?

Показать описание
Many of you know the basics of EMP's where your electronic devices will be wiped out and you will be back in the 1800's. But actually if you understand the technical details of an EMP, you might be surprised to find out that some devices will survive. This will make sense when you understand things like the frequencies of the pulse and the resonance of devices. Plus there are ways to be a prepper and be ready for this with as little as $100.

Here in America we’re in more danger from our own government than Putin

What will survive? .22LR, .223, 5.56, 9mm, 10mm, .357 mag., .45 ACP ... you get the idea. If you have power and no one else does, when you run out of the above, you lose your power.

That's why it's also important to have basic survival skills along with the knowledge in tech

Rob, I appreciate the way you put this in layman's terms so the less tech savy of us can better understand

I'm much more concerned with Klaus Schwab than I am with Putin.

I was on the electronic workbench at work where we had a monitor on the grid with a line voltage monitor. It was mostly on 60 Hz at about 120 VAC. We had a 4.3 earthquake and the monitor burned up in front of my eyes in a second, after moving the needle to the right fullscale. Way over 200 VAC. The needle had paint on it that burned up. The unit itself had a coil that smoked up and shorted. I ran out of the building, a few minutes returning. That was the only piece of equipment that was damaged at the bench. Out in the field, that was another story and 4 people worked for about a month doing repairs.

Rob, thanks for doing this video! You demystified a lot of EMP characteristics for me with your explanations of E1-E3 pulses, induction, and resonance.

Cockroaches will survive, so the prime minister of Canada has nothing to worry about.

Thank you for showing up Rob in spite of your allergies. Hope you got better! Thanks for illuminating me on the wire length problem. So this also means our Starlink might be effected. See you soon.

I love how this is turning into a prepping channel ! 😄 Keep it up rob

The main issue is not much of electronics getting fried(eventhough its rea!), its more of electric grid going down, and the limited availability of the large transformers used for transmission, making it for a prolonged outage for several weeks, if not for months. The issue is the ensuing chaos due to network and internet outage, lack of water supply etc. High quality whole house nanosecond TVS might improve survivability.

It's about time someone gives a good explanation. See you on the air

Rob, one of the beat layman explanations of the impact of EMP on households in over a decade! Superbly well done. Now earn the Amateur Extra License!

The strongest CME ever recorded happened within the last 4 years, it was so powerful that it has it's own category name, as it was an order of magnitude more powerful that a Charington Event... Lucky for Us it headed the opposite direction, away from Earth...

I think bringing this to people's attention is a wonderful public service, even though I know there's going to be some argumentative people that argue with your conclusions😊

I keep extra diodes for my solar panels and my old charge controlers tucked away. They say the panels could survive even plugged in. One interesting tip I got from the EMP commission was that resetting some cars after an event may get them started again. At the very least a temporarily running car is a generator even if you have nowhere to go.

Putin will not be our worry...the US is our worry.
