I've always wanted more content that takes place or visits the combines base of operations, I think the game deliberately keeps them vague as to conceal the abhorrent and immense power the combine posses, as the resistance could be wiped out in seconds by any true combine offensive the games have to downplay their power just so you the player don't feel like you're fighting battle you have no chance of winning.
