It takes a little more practice with your instrument. Getting to know your scales a little better, learning new chords, chords progressions, and so. Every little thing you learn makes a new tool for you to be able to play the riff that's stuck in your head.

@1990xyphos thats when you hum it and hum it slow as fuck so you can figure it out...if u can hum thats all you need to learn guitar in theory.
