Theorically, In this scenario The roman empire would never fall, because the invasion trough the European plain in Germany would never happened because all the Hungarian and Germanic tribe couldn't move with their horse trough the Slovenian and Austrian Alps, so the roman empire could've easily defend itself concentrating the army only in Slovenia and austria

Also Communism wouldn't exist since it was first invented in Germany.

If talking about History, then, if Germany never existed, English would be extinct, because English originated from German.

Let's look at it this way, if Germany and the world are very linked to Star Wars myths; Germany is the chosen one to bring balance to the world. Germany made a large impact to the world during both World Wars. Without Germany, the Allies wouldn't have existed, and there would still be many, continuous wars across the world. Germany being seen as the bad guy in WW2 forced the complete alliance of the world against them. It might have left Germany in ruins, but the world created the United Nations to ensure no more future wars at that scale would ever happen again. Order, balance, and peace is what brought balance to the world towards Germany's views, just like the Empire in Star Wars.

I find it funny that most people in this comment section think that England would not get conquered by French and some saying that it would and that both sides of the argument are failing to realise that England by origin was founded by Germanic tribes( Anglo, Saxon and jutes) that came from Germany if Germany didn’t exist then neither would England and by extension the uk and the British empire which played big role in shaping history as we know it today. An alternate history Germany and by extension/proxy England doesn’t exist would have been vastly different

I feel like Rome would still exist. It would be much much harder for it to collapse if Germ lands were a giant lakes. The coast is a more defendable border, and with shorter fronts against barbarian land, Rome wouldn’t fall.

Ok, so
What you are referring to with “Germany disappearing” is the internal borders of Modern day Germany (1990-) completely ceasing to exist, with the Northern and Baltic Seas meeting in the new bay, which we will refer to as the “Great German Bay”. This will have drastically altered history, not just politically, but the geography of Central and Western Europe will be very different. This Greater German Bay would reflect the Cold temperatures of the North Sea with the Lukewarm ones of the Baltic, making the Bay and the coast around it a prime tornado spot. It would be very difficult to navigate as the North Sea’s tough waters will cause trouble for the bay (if you are wondering why this doesent happen in the Baltic, it’s because of Denmark, which along with the Swedish and Norwegian coasts, alters the intensity and filters the waters into calm). Also, you may be surprised to hear that Germany would still exist. Germany originated in Koningsburg (modern day Kaliningrad) and Lithuania. The Germans pushed West over hundreds of years, forming Prussia, which is now Western Poland and outstretched into Berlin. Germany would still exist, and to continue getting lands, they would likely head south, into Bohemia, Morovia, and Slovakia, all of which were under Austrian Hapsburg rule at the time of the ~1600-1920. This would lead to more sour relations between the Hapsburg Dynasty and Prussia. During the First World War in our timeline, Germany held Prussia, Sheisslewig-Holstein (Southern Danish Peninsula), Al-Sais-Lorane (the French part that juts into the German southwest border), Kaliningrad, and a little bit of Lithuania and Belgium. In this situation, they would have Prussia, Lithuania, Kaliningrad, and possibly Czechia and Slovakia if they were successful in their wars with Austria during the Early Modern period. If the war started in the same way (which it likely would), then Germany would likely NOT be allied with Austria because of their possible history of wars. This would mean no French front, and more importantly, a fast win for the Triple Entente and maybe a less harsh punishment for the Austro-Hungarian empire. The Ottoman Empire also joined WW1 on the Central Powers side because they saw many German victories, so when the Central Powers lost, their empire was dismantled. If no staggering German victories happened, they would have never joined and their empire would be intact for however long their stability lasts. Likely into the modern day. World War Two would also not happen, kinda. Hitler would still be born and rejected from Art School, because he was born in Austria. He would probably go into Austrian politics, as Germany/Prussia was the enemy. I predict that at this time, Austria-Hungary owns Austria, Hungary, northern Transylvania, southern Czechia, Croatia, and Vojvodina. Hitler will try to start another world war, but the allies would not accept appeasement as Austria was not that strong so no major war was risked. They would quickly end the war, and Austria would likely lose Dalmatia to Italy or a Serbian State. Vladimir Lenin was exiled to Switzerland by Russia because of his Communist ideals. Germany brought back Lenin during WW1 to cause Russian internal unrest against their enemy, and it worked. If Germany was never against Russia, Lenin would stay in Switzerland, and the Communist revolution would never happen, or if it did it would be when Russia is not distracted and at a lesser scale. Either way, the USSR and the rise of communism would likely not happen, so no Cold War and modern Geopolitics would be a lot less tense. Also, classical music was invented by German musicians, so that would not exist. Albert Einstein was German, so his theories would also not exist.
Thank you for reading. I’m 13 btw none of this was learned from school but self taught using the internet as my resources. This proves that school taught history is ineffective and the Internet is a great place to learn history.
